How to Unlock the Event Quest
Completing the first quest for Eight Locales Over Mountains and Seas unlocks Snowswept Fairytale! This is the first task you'll have to do for the daily quest chain of this event.

Tip: Bring a Pyro Character!
You need to bring Pyro characters because you need Pyro attacks to remove Kichiboushi's disguises for Day 1. Your characters will also need some warmth to get them through Dragonspine!
Kichiboushi's Torch Disguise on Day 1
Kichiboushi turns into a wooden torch the first time it disguises itself. Simply light the torch up with a Pyro character to get rid of Kichiboushi's disguise and advance in the quest.
Kichiboushi's Ice Pile Disguise on Day 1
After gliding over the ravine, Kichiboushi will turn into a pile of ice beside a Ruin Brazer (the Dragonspine heating mechanism). Melt the ice with a Pyro character to reveal the sneak Bake-Danuki!

You agreed to Ioroi's request to ''bring Kichiboushi out to train.'' Your first stop is Dragonspine, which Ioroi once saw on the ocean's far side from atop Mt. Yougou.
Eight Locales Over Mountains and Seas: Snowswept Fairytale Objectives
- Go to Dragonspine
- Play with Kichiboushi
- Catch up with Kichiboushi
- Play with Kichiboushi
- Take a picture of Kichiboushi
- Defeat the Great Snowboar King
- Talk to Kichiboushi
- Go to Chinju Forest and report back to Ioroi
Full Quest Walkthrough

| 1 |  Teleport to Dragonspine and go to Kichiboushi's location below the Statue of the Seven. |
| 2 |  Play with Kichiboushi as he teleports around the Dragonspine. |
| 3 |  With a Pyro character, light up the torch beside a campfire. |
| 4 |  Glide over the ravine to the other side. |
| 5 |  Melt the ice block beside a Ruin Brazier. |
| 6 |  Follow Kichiboushi and press on the ''Start Taking Pictures'' prompt. This will automatically adjust the camera! |
| 7 |  Defeat the Snowboar King. |
| 8 |  Talk to Kichiboushi again. |
| 9 |  Teleport back to Inazuma and go to Chinju Forest. Report back to Ioroi to finish the first part of this event! |
