For this challenge, building Ningguang as a typical Geo DPS can go a long way, as her personal damage is highly valued in this fight.

However, there is an added priority to Energy Recharge due to the lack of Geo batteries to reliably get her burst up, so try to get your Energy Recharge to 130 - 140% to reliably trigger her Elemental Burst off-cooldown.

Ningguang's best weapons are those that offer a boost to her Normal or Charged Attack Damage such as Tulaytullah's Remembrance, as well as any help to her overall Elemental DMG like Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds.

Other accessible options include Skyward Atlas, Ballad of the Boundless Blue, The Widsith to some effect, or the Eye of Perception.

Nighttime Whispers in the Echoing Woods will boost Ningguang's damage the most out of any option, but is not required as 2-pc. combinations that boost both ATK and Geo DMG come close, with only a 5% innate difference.

Overall, you should opt to build for whichever has better substats, as Ningguang will perform the same in most cases.

Ningguang's sub-stat priority runs the same as her typical DPS builds, with more priority given to Energy Recharge to get it to a comfortable spot where Ningguang can reliably Burst quickly.

Defeat the Enemies

This challenge features 11 ranged-type Hilichurl opponents and 1 Blazing Axe Mitachurl who will attempt to destroy the Monolith at the center of the arena.

All enemies can make quick work of the Monolith, and need to be taken out quickly or interrupted as much as possible.

Use Ningguang's Jade Screen to Avoid Damage

As most of the enemies here are ranged, your best strategy with Ningguang is to remain close to the Monolith, placing the Jade Screen to be used as a shield to block incoming enemy projectiles.

Keeping your distance also prevents enemies from splitting up too much, allowing you to comfortably pick them off from the safety of the Jade Screen.

Elemental Burst While the Jade Screen is Up

The Jade Screen counts as a geo construct, so using Ningguang's Elemental Burst within its vicinity will give her more projectiles to do damage with, allowing for a faster clear.

Try to use Ningguang's Burst near the end of the Jade Screen's uptime to ensure that she can replace the shield as soon as her Elemental Burst animation is over.

Charged Attack to Disrupt Opponents

Ningguang's Charged Attacks are capable of staggering opponents who may be mid-animation into firing projectiles at the Monolith.

Use this as a way to deal extra damage, as well as buying time for Jade Screen to be back up.
