It's not that everyone hates her, it's just that she just doesn't deal enough damage as the top tier DPS's in the game (Ganyu, Hu Tao, Xiao, etc.). Her attack scaling and the fact that she is electro (that has low elemental reaction damage), she doesn't just compete with the characters that have better damage numbers. However, you can still use her, if that's what you're worried about. She can still be a very good character if you have the right builds and right team built around her.

Why does everyone hate kequig? I look around an on all the 5 star rating lists she's in the bottom for some reason?

Not any that I know of, Although, you can check the Mihoyo website and keep an eye out for Genshin ads. There is only one code right now, it is “GENSHINGIFT”.
Is there anyplace to sign up for notifications when new redeemable codes get released, so we can make sure to use them prior to expiring? I’m new and tried codes found online for about an hour yesterday and only found one that worked. This site is solid updated when they expire and providing the one that worked, but would like to make sure I don’t miss future ones.

What does everyone think is the logic behind making “Traveler” limited to a single weapon type? I would have thought a standard rpg aspect or at least giving people a choice would have been used. If player access to weapon types+Weapons w/ elemental essence so players could access element abilities until new region elements get unlocked. After unlock character combos of weapons element+current element add game mechanic that would increase appeal for using traveler.
