How to Beat Omega Weapon

This is a walkthrough for the boss Omega Weapon from the game Final Fantasy VIII (FF8, FFVIII). Read on for tips and strategy about how to beat Omega Weapon, including Omega Weapon's stats and other useful information.

How to Beat Omega Weapon

Preparation

Main party attackers with Critical HP, Gilgamesh Card / Holy Wars, Meltdown Magic, Auto-Haste, Initiative ability, Ultimecia abilities unsealed.

Moveset

Light Pillar, Lvl Death 5, Megiddo Flame, Meteor, Terra Break.

Starting Move

Have your character with Initiative immediately use Holy war (Make sure to not confuse Holy War with Holy Water.). Let the 2nd character cast Meltdown/doomtrain to inflict VIT-0 to Omega Weapon.

Strategy

Once these are ready, unleash your offensive Limitbreaks and let your magic oriented Party members on standby and wait so they can immediately reapply holy war to the team. The battle will take awhile with Omega Weapon's massive HP pool so just stay focused and keep reapplying Invincible to your party members to defeat the hardest boss in the game.
