Major Quest Objectives |
---|
|
Upon acquiring this quest, Isana Negat will be available to fast travel to in the world map. It is located at the southwest or bottom left of Northern Thedas, in the Anderfels.
Speak to Harding on your arrival, who is investigating a camp. Continue south down the stairs and through the door, and turn right for the Deep Roads entrance. Use Harding's magic on the slabs to start the descent into the Deep Roads.
At the bottom of your descent will be the Deep Grotto, with hostile undead standing around. Defeat the undead and continue forward, using Harding's magic to open any blocked pathways.
Past the first stone slab will be a red rock, interact with it to free the dwarf trapped inside, and speak to them before continuing.
Turn left from the freed dwarf and head further into the deep roads. Once you reach the Lyrium Cavern, go towards the ancient mining operation ahead.
You will come across a locked ladder in the mining operation. Destroy the lock to climb up and continue forward.
Keep following the quest path, and eventually you must slide down towards an area with demons. Defeat the demons and free the second dwarf in the same room.
Head past the second dwarf and go into the Old Shafts. There will be more demons and undead at the beginning of the area, defeat them and continue to the third dwarf nearby.
Continue the path to the Cavity area and defeat the Rage Demon and all other enemies. Stalgard is the last dwarf trapped in red lyrium, release him from it and speak to him.
After speaking to Stalgard, head to the Heart and go right underneath it, where Harding will confront the Titans' shade in a cutscene.
After the cutscene, you and your other companion will have to fight demons and another Wrath of the Stone miniboss. Harding will not be a part of this fight.
Defeat all the enemies and another cutscene will follow.
