Floating Pneumousia Machines will be present in the field, and you have to complete its challenge in order to get the chest with the Mysterious Core inside of it.
Near each machine are Pneuma and Ousia Blocks. Pick them up and your next attack will cause the block to deal DMG of their respective alignment. You can only pick up one block at a time. Once picked up, attack the machine and deal DMG opposite its alignment.

If you successfully change the machine's alignment, it will attract waves of enemies. Defeat them to complete the machine challenge.
Do take note that you may have to do this several times to complete the challenge, which will require you to pick up different Pneumousia Blocks each time. The subsequent blocks will appear just near the machine so they will be very hard to miss.

The first Core is to the south of the West Slope of Automnequi, and the Pneumousia Block is a little further north behind some trees.

The second Core is by a fishing spot on a beach east of Elynas, with the Pneumosa Block behind some crates nearby. You might have to get a little creative with this one, as this will involve disappearing and reappearing platforms.

The third Core is by a waterfall to the west of Elynas. Another puzzle involving blue platforms so make your way up them each time you hit the machine and defeat the wave of enemies it will summon.

The fourth Core is your very first Core underwater, located south of the Salacia Plain and just by the Pale Forgotten Glory domain.
Destroy the boulder with Armored Crab Fontemer Aberrant to find and obtain the Pneumousia Block hidden beneath it. After obtaining the Pneumousia Block, strike the floating machine and defeat the waves of enemies that will appear.

The fifth Core is towards the center of the Salacia plain and just west of the Teleport Waypoint. The Pneumousia Block is hidden by an Echoing Conch. Dig it up and start the challenge!
| Core 6 Location | |

The sixth Core is towards the northern part of the Salacia Plain. The Pneumousia Block is located on a big umbrella-like seaweed nearby. There are Fontemer Aberrants nearby to pick up abilities from for the upcoming battles, so make sure to do so!
| Core 7 Location | |

The seventh and final Core is along the entrance to the Talatta Submarine Canyon, south of its initial Teleport Waypoint.
The Pneumousia Block for it is trapped in Fontemer Grass, so use the abilities of a Hunter Ray Fontemer Aberrant to cut them off and free it..

Giving all seven Mysterious Cores to Henri triggers the "Still Mouthwatering!" quest. It's the second quest of a two-part quest series found north of Poisson, Fontaine.
You can only use these Mysterious Cores after completing Henri's first quest, "Truly Mouthwatering!"
