Recommended Farming Spot
Altaroth is present in most areas in the game, but it is recommended that you hunt them in the Flooded Forest. This is because their locations are closer to the camp.
You can go through Area 1, then Area 14, then Area 12. If you want materials from Altaroth, we recommend that you go around this route during a high rank expedition. Remember to check if there's an Outbreak of Altaroth in the expedition you're going on!
Altaroth Locations and Material Drops Guide
Use Poison Smoke Bombs or Throwing Kunais on Altaroth
When attacked with a strong weapon, insects with fragile bodies like Altaroth tend to get destroyed. To properly carve an Altaroth, we suggest using Poison Smoke Bombs or Throwing Kunais to kill them slowly and leave behind a corpse.
