During the Version 2.3 Livestream, a mysterious Swordmaster was introduced by Owlbert for the Xiazhou Wardance. Little was divulged about this individual aside from their exceptional talent, leaving little room for speculation beyond their striking similarity to March 7th's character model.
Near the end of the livestream, there was a small snippet shown to viewers that they should stay tuned in for the upcoming Summer Game Fest and it was there that Silhouette was revealed to be March 7th all along

Honkai Star Rail featured a segment in the Summer Game Fest Livestream. Primarily centered around the unveiling of the Version 2.3 patch, the latter part of the segment surprised us with a glimpse of March 7th joining the Wardance!
It comes off as strange that March 7th was referred to as an exceptionally gifted Swordmaster since we know her more for her skills with the bow. Could this be the long-awaited transformation of March 7th that players have eagerly anticipated?

In the Version 2.1 Anniversary livestream held in April, game developers and writers answered user-submitted questions about the game.
One of the questions focused on the anticipated release of March 7th's Transformation. This Speculation might have come from the fact that March 7th, unlike her friends the Trailblazer and Dan Heng, lacked an alternate form.
A lead writer elaborated on how, given March 7th's prominence as a main character and mascot of the game, she would receive treatment similar to her companions. In 2024, a system similar to switching Paths (like the Trailblazer) would be introduced for her, albeit with a different system.
While not identical to traversing a new Path, this mechanism would involve creating memories, hinting that the memory forged by March 7th's participation in the Xiazhou Wardance could potentially become a playable form for players in Version 2.4 of Honkai Star Rail.
