For Stage 1, activating the Pursuit Providence means that you receive an unconditional 400 increase to Elemental Mastery for the rest of the fight as long as you perform Dendro reactions.
This can be a negligible buff on most teams, but on Dendro-focused, Vaporize, or Melt teams, this buff can skyrocket their damage and enable them to take down opponents in record time.
Pursuit Providence | After characters use Elemental Skills 8 time(s), the DMG dealt by the active character's Normal Attacks and Elemental Skill will increase by 75%. If the character is in Nightsoul's Blessing, the DMG dealt by the character's Normal Attack and Elemental Skill increase by an additional 50%. |
---|---|
Nemesis Empowerment | Danger zones that constantly move will appear when the challenge begins. When a character is in these dangerous areas, you will take True DMG from the Prohibition for every 2s you stay within a danger zone. |

Stage 2's Pursuit Providence can be triggered by any Elemental Skills, and improves Normal Attack and Elemental Skills, which is universal to most Main DPS. This bonus is further improved by a character who can use Nightsoul's Blessing, which are exclusive to Natlan characters.
The Special Nemeses involves the Tenebrous Mimiflora, which mimics the attack patterns of an existing enemy. It is also protected by a ward which prevents direct damage. To remove this ward, use characters with Nightsoul's Blessing to chip the ward faster, although any fast Elemental Attacks which can tick fast is also fine. Only after the ward is broken can you damage the Mimiflora normally.
Pursuit Providence | After characters trigger Vaporize 10 time(s) on opponents, the DMG dealt by the active character's Normal and Charged Attacks increases by 100%. |
---|---|
Nemesis Empowerment | Some opponents will receive the following effects: Other opponents within a certain radius will receive 20% increased ATK and 40% increased All Elemental and Physical Res. |

Stage 3's Pursuit Providence is empowered with 10 hits of Vaporize, and enhances characters who uses Normal and Charged Attacks. Take advantage of this perk with Pyro and Hydro-centric teams!
If you're fighting the Special Nemesis, the Yumkasaur will periodically spawn Flamegranates which enhances his attacks if you don't remove them. Hit any Pyro attacks to all three seeds to disable this attack and lower its resistance for a bit!
Pursuit Providence | After characters trigger Crystallize 12 times on opponents, all party members gain a 100% Geo DMG Bonus. |
---|---|
Nemesis Empowerment | Opponents' ATK increased by 20%. For each opponent defeated, the ATK of all opponents currently on the field is additionally increased by 10%, max 2 stacks. |

Best Characters | Geo-Pyro Free to Play |
Steadfast Difficulty Characters | Geo-Pyro |
Stage 4's Pursuit Providence is empowered by triggering the Crystallize reaction. As there will be Lawachurls with Electro and Cryo shields, Double-Geo and Pyro team comps are best for this stage.
For the Special Nemesis side, it's recommended to have Xilonen, Kachina, or any vertical ascending characters like Xiao so they can go up the Phlogiston pillar the boss creates during its special phase. Destroying both mechanisms will lower the boss' resistances, which allows you to dish out your damage!
Pursuit Providence | After characters trigger Nightsoul Bursts 2 time(s), the DMG dealt by the active character increases by 100%. |
---|---|
Nemesis Empowerment | When the active character is within the Duel Zone of an elite opponent, that character's DMG will be increased by 20%. When they are outside such a Duel Zone, they will take DMG every 2s. |

Nightsoul Burst is the condition for the buff to take effect, which only characters from Natlan can activate through any Elemental Attacks made by them. Kachina is a free-4 star which you can use if you don't have the new Natlan 5-stars.
The Special Nemesis side features the Battle-Hardened Tent Tortoise, which has similar properties as the Local Legend Cocijo in the overworld. Pyro-centric teams excel here as the turtle will periodically have an Electro shield. Be wary of the spinning attack it does and try to disengage or use a shield when going melee!
Nightsoul's Blessing and Burst Guide
Pursuit Providence | After characters use Elemental Bursts 5 time(s), the DMG dealt by all party memebers' Elemental Bursts increases by 80% and their Energy Recharge increases by 50%. |
---|---|
Nemesis Empowerment | The HP percentage of all opponents affected by this will change every 20s: After changing, all their HP% values will be the same as the HP% of the affected opponent with the highest current HP%. |

Steadfast Difficulty Characters | Aggravate |
Stage 6 is best for characters focused on Elemental Burst DMG, like Ayaka, Raiden Shogun, or Xiangling. As the Pursuit Providence gives you Energy Recharge, slot in as much characters who can damage well with Elemental Bursts as you can!
The Special Nemesis side features the Jadeplume Terrorshroom, which is both empowered by and weak to Electro. When it gets hit by Electro a certain number of times, the Jadeplume Terrorshroom goes berserk for a bit before exhausting itself and reducing its RES, so go all out with your Burst during this state!
Waves of enemies will spawn during the challenge. Make sure to defeat all of them as fast as possible to get all of the rewards.
Pursuit Providences will be available to help you kill enemies faster. It's important to note that you will need to meet certain conditions to activate these buffs. An example of these conditions is activating your Elemental Skill eight times for your Normal Attack and Elemental Skill to deal 75% more damage.
Thus, your priority should be making sure you have Pursuit Providences active to clear the challenge as fast as possible.
If you want a harder challenge or an easier time, you can adjust the difficulty settings. There are four of them, namely, Perilous, Quandary, Desperate, and Steadfast. It's important to note that defeating the highest difficulty lets you claim the rewards from the lower difficulties as well.
You will only need to do Quandary, the second difficulty, to get the Primogem rewards. The 4★ challenge, Steadfast, is incredibly beefy, and requires the best of the best characters to speedrun the stage.
Specific difficulties will have special mechanics that will hinder you from completing a challenge. An example of this is how danger zones will spawn on Perilous, Quandary, and Desperate difficulties for Stage 1 and 2. If you stay in these danger zones, your character will receive true damage over time.

I don't understand why you would use dendro on the Jadeplume Terrorshroom. It's got an 80% dendro res and 55% when it's stunned. In Spiral Abyss, this isn't too concerning since the boss's stats are lower, but in this Feast of Pursuit event, it's a beefy, tanky HP sponge. Please show us how Clorinde, Fischl, Nahida, Xilonen aggravate team is viable. The majority of Clorinde's DMG comes from skill attacks. I don't need to mention the others.

I'm not a whale player, been playing for almost 2 years and beat everything on the highest difficulty. However, I get what that you're saying. This event still frustrated the hell out of me. Even when using the best consumable buffs (something Game8 fails to suggest) the battles are still extremely tough.
