You also need to defeat two Lanmolas in the desert before this quest can appear.
A Rift in the Gerudo Desert Walkthrough
Travel to Gerudo Town, and head towards the entrance of Gerudo Palace that is guarded by two sentries. You will notice another entrance just left of the main one. Go inside that entrance, and talk to the guard on the left.
A short cutscene will play out, and you will be able to begin the Wild Sanstorms Side Quest after the cutscene ends.
Objectives | |
---|---|
1 | Travel to the Waypoint East of the Oasis and North of Suthorn Beach. From there, head northwest to see sand bubbling on the surface. Send out Monster Echoes before Lanmola emerges from the sand. It is recommended that you equip the Gerudo Sandals Accessory when battling Lanmola, as the accessory prevents Zelda from sinking into quicksands. |
2 | For the rest of the fight, check out our guide below for a step-by-step walkthrough on how to beat Lanmola: ▶ How to Beat the Desert Centipede Lanmola |
3 | After you've grabbed the rupees and heart container that Lanmola drops upon its defeat, head back to Gerudo Palace and talk to the guard on the left. A cutscene will play out, and you will receive a Gold Sash Accessory from Lady Facette. |
A Heart Piece will be dropped by Lanmola once you've defeated it in battle during the Wild Sandstorms Side Quest.
Completing the Wild Sandstorms Side Quest will earn you the Gold Sash Accessory, which is given by Lady Facette once you've slain Lanmola and return to Gerudo Palace.
