This is the only enemy inside the cave.
The earliest you can encounter a Peahat is when you get to the Suthorn Forest. Head east and find a cave with two Braziers outside.
The only enemy found here is the Peahat, a spinning spiky plant that can be difficult to fight during early game.
A man you talk to in Suthorn Village wishes to see a Flying Plant as part of a Side Quest. Defeating the Peahat, learning it as an echo, then showing it to the man will allow you to complete the request.
Finding the Flying Plant Quest Walkthrough
If you encounter Peahat early in the game without many Echoes in your repertoire, you can summon a Rock Echo and repeatedly throw it at Peahat to fend it off.
Summoning low-level enemy Echoes is less effective, as Peahat has an attack where it becomes spiky and charges at you, likely defeating any Echoes you summon.
Rock Echo Location and How to Get
If you encounter Peahat during mid to late game with many Echoes already in your possession, you can typically defeat it by summoning fire-based enemy Echoes, such as Ignizol or the Fire Wizzrobe
