The Culling of the Worms: Gathering

Collect scattered components

Genshin - The Culling of the Worms Gathering the Components

After talking to Vinyak, you will be tasked in collecting three components for the cannon. You are to defeat waves of monsters in the given locations marked on your minimap. Afterwards, the components can be retrieved from the boxes.

After getting the component, move to the next location as directed by the yellow quest indicator. You can use the Four-Leaf Sigils to easily get there!

Gathering Trial Bonus Effect

The damage dealt by all party members that use Catalysts is increased by 20%.

Introduction Walkthrough

	Walkthrough
1	Adjust your in-game time to the next day (08:00 - 12:00 AM).
2	Head north past the big obelisk and talk to Shriya and Vinayak. You can latch on to the Four Leaf-Sigils to travel faster.
3	Talk to Vinayak to start the second trial of the event.

The Culling of the Worms: Testing

Set up device

Genshin - The Culling of the Worms Testing the Charging Device

Similar to the Gathering trial, the Testing trial involves defeating waves of enemies to unlock the three Charging Devices. Once the Charging Devices become available, simply press the Set Up button to complete the mechanism.

Testing Trial Bonus Effect

Normal, Charged, and Plunging attacks dealt by all party members are increased by 20%.

Once all three charging devices have been set up, go to the turret east of the researchers' location and simply press the Set Up button once more to complete this quest!

Charge Up the Wenutslayer Cannon

Genshin - The Culling of the Worms Demonstration - Lure the Wenut into attacking the rocks
The Demonstration trial involves you protecting the Charging Devices while at the same time, gathering Elemental Energy to charge up and fire the Wenutslayer Cannon.

You can gather energy by defeating enemies and have the Wenut destroy rocks.
