Xiao is basically unplayable now. Even with great build and Xianyun, he'll always stay an A rank dps. No elemental reactions and crap energy usage for his ult. Idk why so many xiao mains defend him. He's slow and deserves to be in a worse spot.
I’ll try, also if you don’t mind me asking what artifacts do I use on her when paring him up with her. I plan to get Xianyun on her rerun but for now I’m pairing him up with Jean and furina.

Is faruzan worth building for him if she’s only c2?
ehh personally id go with the first one. but watch your other stats too. my advice is go with the one with higher er between these two
70/275 crit rate/crit damage or 75/260 for xiao?
yup but Xianyun will take Jean place when she releases. She gives a plunge buff to xiao in single target scenarios which was his major weakness on top of cc.
I can't wait to see Xiao get the love he deserves with cloud retainer's upcoming release... It's been too long.
Is xiao/furina/Jean/faruzan xiao bets team right now? I’m currently building furina right now so if she is I want to pair her up with him
Adding on to my summary, Xiao also has bigger AoE but can’t use Spd boosts (unless you use Normal Attack Xiao), so if you wanna clear big crowds of enemies, Xiao is relatively easier to do so
If you wanna try out an Anemo Dps, he’s a good option. Wanderer is somewhat better but less versatile in the sense that he can only deal Anemo Dmg. At least Xiao, while not his main role, can do other forms of dmg (if you’re bored) so it really depends on which playstyle you want and how much you’re willing to invest. Cause unless you got the Jade-Winged Spear from Weapon/Standard banner or don’t mind spending a bit, Blackcliff Pole is his only 4* weapon option that’s good for him.
how about c0 is he still worth? I don't have him
idk bout that my xiao c2 and still my best dps and my account is good , #thatguy, people just never got Xiao built right
anemo dps is bad except c6 wanderer.
With hp drain mechanics of fontaine, will his positiin move up in the tier list considering his synergy with Furina?
also xiao does become one of the strongest dps when c6 and outshines almost every other c6 dps but since people mainly go for c0 it doesn’t really matter I suppose.
Cyno has lower multipliers than keqing so I kind of see why but he is pretty strong when it comes to dendro teams and Eula is mainly physical but she is very strong when built right, I agree that wanderer should be s tier , I don’t know about xiao tho but I do see a lot of websites putting his double geo team as a Recommended for the abyss and is always S teir but the problem with that is it’s a team of all 5 stars. I agree tho, these characters should be higher.
