This is a guide to the best controller scheme and settings for Dragon Ball Sparking Zero. Learn which control scheme is the best for you and the recommended settings for different types of players!
List of Contents

The standard control settings is a modernized and updated setting to use for the Tenkaichi battle system of Dragon Ball. We highly recommend new players to use the standard controls and even veteran Tenkaichi players if they haven't played the game in a long while to get accustomed to a more smooth controller scheme.

Classic mirrors the settings the previous games in the Tenkaichi series had and is perfect for veterans that are actively playing the previous games. This settings will bring these players right at home and head straight to fighting right away.
Due to the game's fast movements, increasing the motion blur may further make it more difficult to keep track of everyone's movements in the game. We highly recommend setting this off to improve the game combat experience.
While this is a complete preference, reducing or outright removing the camera shake from the game may make the game feel smoother. While it may reduce the impact of certain moves, removing this feature will make the game more steady and less confusing, especially to new players.
Battle Assist is a new player feature that will allow players to hop into the game and duke it out with other players immediately. However, if your goal is to learn the game and the combat's nuances and mechanics, turning the battle assist feature off will allow you to experience a more in-depth battle system.
