Each face button corresponds to a specific transformation.
Navigate the Transformation Menu

This scrolls through different transformations and fusions some characters have.

Hold the Transformation Button to Open the Transformation Menu

To transform in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, you first need to accumulate enough Skill Count, then hold the Transformation button to open the Transformation Menu. From there, press the corresponding face button to choose your desired transformation.

By default, the Transformation button is mapped to the D-Pad Up. You can adjust this in the Controls Option Menu, accessible in the Main Menu.
