The best way to farm Zeni is to replay the Super Saiyan Goku Awakens! episode battle in the Planet Namek Arc. Completing this for the first time rewards you with the Goku (Z-Mid) Outfit 3, among other items. Since rewards like this cannot be given twice, it is instead converted into Zeni.
