The best way to farm Zeni is to replay the Super Saiyan Goku Awakens! episode battle in the Planet Namek Arc. Completing this for the first time rewards you with the Goku (Z-Mid) Outfit 3, among other items. Since rewards like this cannot be given twice, it is instead converted into Zeni.
This outfit converts to 300,000 Zeni, providing you with a considerable amount of Zeni for each replay!

Bonus Battles are battles where you fight as and fight against different characters. Each Bonus Battle rewards varying amounts of Zeni and given the overall number of battles available in the game, this can also be a viable method of farming Zeni.
