Valeria and The Hero are the Strongest Characters in Suikoden 1
The strongest characters in Suikoden 1 are the Hero and Valeria. Both characters deal great damage and can be used in any scenario.

SS Tier
The Hero

|
Range: M ・Can instantly wipe all enemies with Soul Eater ・High single-target damage ・Synergizes with Kai |
The Hero wields a special rune called Soul Eater, which becomes more powerful the more it grows. Towards the end of the game, this rune can deal high damage to bosses, while instantly killing enemies. Adding Kai to your party will also grant access to a Unite Attack, which can carry you through the early game.
