The Binoculars are used to change the view of the battlefield in Suikoden 1 HD Remaster. Find out how to use the Binoculars in the game, where to get it, and how to unlock Ivanov's Mural.

How to Use the Binoculars

Change the View of the Battlefield

Once acquired, the Binoculars can be used to adjust the camera manually using the right analog stick on a controller.

On a keyboard and mouse, the Binoculars can be used by pressing the 8,6,4,and 2 number keys.

Keep in mind that changing the camera angle with the Binoculars is only available during combat.

Complete Ivanov's Mural

Suikoden 1 - Completed Ivanov

To obtain the Binoculars, complete the mural in your base. Gather all seven types of paint and give them to Ivanov at your base to finish the mural.

Recruit Ivanov at Your Base

Suikoden 1 - Recruiting Ivanov

The mural can be unlocked by recruiting Ivanov, who can be recruited by simply talking to him as Scarleticia after defeating Milich Oppenheimer in Chapter 5.
