How to Beat Assassin

Attack Him Until He Goes Away

Assassin Runs Away
The Assassin, despite having such a sudden and menacing entrance, shouldn't be too much of a threat to the Hero. Simply strike him a few times until he casts what seems to be a smoke screen spell, and he will be chased off by other members of the Toran Liberation Army.

Similar to the Queen Ant, you'll only need to survive three turns. Make sure that you can hold out until those turns pass to win the fight.

The Assassin Is Immune to Rune Magic

Don
Don't bother using the Hero's Soul Eater rune magic on the Assassin since he will not take any damage whatsoever. It is more efficient to damage him with normal attacks instead.

Use Auto-Battle to Speedrun the Fight

Speedrun Fights With Auto-Battle
Since you only need to attack him until he disappears, you can just use Auto-Battle until he flees from the fight. Just make sure you watch your HP in case you get too low so that you can stop Auto-Battle and heal the Hero.
