Talking to Marco in Rockland will allow you to play the Correct Coin game in Suikoden 1 HD Remaster. Find out where to play the coin game, strategies, how to beat the Coin Game, and more!
List of Contents

The Correct Coin Game involves Marco placing a coin under one of three cups, before shuffling the order at great speed. Picking the right cup will double the amount bet. Players can bet from 100, 1 000, and 10 000 Potch.
Betting more Potch will increase the shuffling speed and make it really difficult to track the cup. The cups shuffle slowest when you bet 100 Potch and fastest at 10,000 Potch. Tracking the cups will basically be impossible at 10,000 Potch, you'll just have to guess at that point.
If you want to succeed with the higher bets, you can record a video of the cups shuffling using another device or a capture card and play it in slow motion to track the cup.

You can save at the Inn right next to where Marco is walking around. Failing to save before playing the minigame can cause you to lose all your money when you lose consecutively. Save right before playing the minigame to make sure you can reload when you need to.
Looking at the bottom of the cup can be easier to track than the cup itself. The color of the cup is darker near the bottom, and can be easily followed compared to the entire cup.

You can play the Correct Coin Game by talking to Marco at Rockland. Marco becomes a companion if you win more than 5000 Potch in one game and Headquarters reach Level 3 or higher.
Recruiting Marco will allow you to play the game at your base. This does not affect the rules of the game.
