How to Get Diablos

Use Qurupeco's Monster Call in Trese Desert

To get a Diablos egg, have Qurupeco use its Monster Call in Trese Desert until you get its encounter. Afterward, have it retreat by using a Paintball and using either a Flash or Sonic Bomb on it before defeating the Diablos.

If you do not have either of those bombs, wait for the Diablos to use its Merciless Horn attack as it is guaranteed for them to get knocked down!

Diablos Location and Retreat Conditions

Find in Trese Desert

You can find Diablos and their egg nests in Trese Desert. With a Qurupeco's Monster Call, you can lure them out and possibly make them retreat!

Make Diablos Retreat

To get guaranteed Diablos eggs, you can make them retreat by following the conditions above conditions. Afterwards, follow them to their den and gather an egg from their nest while Diablos is sleeping!

Optionally, you can get the Den Protector skill to further increase the chances of Diablos retreating. You can get this skill early with the Pink Rathian's armor, Rath Heart Armor!
