Find in Perennial Pass
You can find Gypceros and their egg nests in Perennial Pass. With a Qurupeco's Monster Call, you can lure them out and possibly make them retreat!

To get guaranteed Gypceros eggs, you can make them retreat by following the conditions above conditions. Afterwards, follow them to their den and gather an egg from their nest while Gypceros is sleeping!
Optionally, you can get the Den Protector skill to further increase the chances of Gypceros retreating. You can get this skill early with the Pink Rathian's armor, Rath Heart Armor!
