Qurupeco is a Bird Wyvern in Monster Hunter Stories (MH Stories). Read on to know how to get Qurupeco early, its location, retreat conditions, egg location, egg patterns, weaknesses and stats, skills, genes, and what Qurupeco drops!
List of Contents
When you finish the Scriveners Request in the story, Qurupecos will naturally spawn in the Monsonne Plains! After engaging a fight with one, it is recommended to use a Monstie with the Power tendency.
When the Qurupeco's health lowers to a point where you are confident in ending the fight, throw a paintball at it, then knock it down with a Sonic Bomb. Following this method should guarantee the Qurupeco to retreat!
Having a Qurupeco early on is crucial as it will help you get the Monsties you want with its Monster Call rider ability!
You can find Qurupeco and their egg nests in Monsonne Plains. With a Qurupeco's Monster Call, you can lure them out and possibly make them retreat!
How to Make Qurupeco Retreat |
---|
・Defeat while Paintball-ed ・Defeat while downed |
To get guaranteed Qurupeco eggs, you can make them retreat by following the conditions above conditions. Afterwards, follow them to their den and gather an egg from their nest while Qurupeco is sleeping!
Optionally, you can get the Den Protector skill to further increase the chances of Qurupeco retreating. You can get this skill early with the Pink Rathian's armor, Rath Heart Armor!
