Hutao has been extremely powerful since its appearance, not weakened at all, it's just that the newer the character, the better. It's simply to diversify the choices for Myhoyo's customers. Increase sales

Game8 is just biased legit that is the only answer. He is not more free to play than navia or mualani, for his DPR to be high his best teams require atleast three 5 star characters . He certianly doesn't do more damage than they do. He doesn't have more interruption resistance than they do. he ahsn't had a new upgrade to his team since his release. Clear he is someones fav on game8 and they want to keep in SS even though he doesn't deserve it

I never said Alhaitham was my favorite character, I was comparing his versatility against various Bosses in Abyss and Theater, I admit he can't deal huge damage like Neu or Fatui 4th, but he is f2p friendly, although difficult to play. But enough to overcome Abyss and Theater within the time limit. Facing various Bosses is what a pragmatic person like me should need.
Of course, overworld bosses will always appear in the Abyss. And I'm talking about the Abyss and Theater, not the Overworld. As long as you have enough time to get the maximum rewards in there, being faster is not really important when there are many things to care about in the game. List the elemental bosses, add the elemental leaders, corresponding to the types. You will see that Denro and Geo are very versatile against bosses regardless of element. That doesn't matter most characters can clear overwolrd easily. His clear times in abyss are not even the fastest or even close to it. Navia and mualani can do more DPR than him and can clear faster. This tier list specifically focuses on abyss. Any character can make overworld easy
Judging characters based on strength stats makes the game boring, if you really care about damage stats, then 1one hit hack is the ideal choice.
When you go to the List of Bosses of game8, you will see that Neuvillette, Mualani and Arlecchino are useless against many elemental bosses, and bosses with elemental shields respectively. And they also appear often in Black Hole and Theater. While Drendro and Geo Boss are not many. About Kinich, he is not good at handling crowds and it is difficult to support him, it is difficult to combine the group when using elemental skills to interrupt the time, making the gameplay boring.
