yes don’t listen to the others, she isn’t the best by any means but she fits into so many teams and has some pretty good scaling that she helps in getting you through a lot of scenarios on top of being a battery. I’ve been clearing abyss with raiden for almost a year now and she’s very good especially if your low ar. She still has alot of value even at c0.

Raiden off-field e-skill support build with 4pcs Thundering Fury works just fine as an Electro stat-stick. I'm having fun with most ranged-type characters as her Electro damage is insane. XD

If you want Raiden's constellations pull for c2. Her c1 is not worth, Engulfing Lightning will give more dmg increase or build her for hyperbloom.
mid. just build her as hyperbloom trigger with full em artifacts. cheaper than emblem build anyway. em raiden dont need her talents levelled up btw.

If you’re going for burst DPS Raiden, then yes it’s preferred. I’m not sure if it’s a “must” as it more so depends on whether your other pieces’ substats can compensate for the lack of crt rate helmet. I’d recommend using The Catch to compensate for low crit rate. Try to aim for around 45-48% crit rate at minimum if you’re using Catch as R5 gets you to ~60%.
Cope and seethe. Raiden still remains one of the best char in game and most sold too.
'best electro dps' her C0 is mid and her C2 National why bother with her? just replace her with Kazuha, replace xq with Childe and you will have best team International. C0 Childe International > C2 Rational 'best battery support' favonius is a thing 'best hyperbloom enabler' using HB Raiden require Kokomid and kokomid don't bring damage while HB kuki can bring offensive hydro not to mention kuki E can attack shield enemies while raiden can't. Kuki > Raiden
