i have both r2 rust r1 viridescent, and r1 stringless, i main him. what should i use?
I did think of windblume ode...but crafted Prototype Cresent...forgot I had a prototype billet for bow, works pretty decent for Childe, sadly reduces power for burst which Stringless provided but compensates well by overall damage up
U should go for stringless,blackcliff or favonius warbow but me personally I recommend using the r5 windblume ode
yeah, so far i’m experimenting with builds until i get decent HOD drops. i got rust today and gave him a 4pc berseker and so far he’s doing better damage. thanks for the heads up, i was really unsure!
For Childe, I have Stringless, Favonius, All 3*, and Black cliff or Royal bows as options, which do I go for? (Building him as carry in dual main dps setup, c0)
I thought it is better to give him Berserker

is 4pc gambler + prototype crescent good enough for early game? i haven’t unlocked the dragonspine domain yet.
it's useable, for 6 seconds (it's a NO imo) , unless u have 60% crit rate which is quite impossible when using that bow, consider that bow as last option. But if u wanna play childe, just get him, u might get good bow later.
If you don't have anything better like 5* bows or Rust, VH, or even Stringless maybe it will do. But that is the last dead end option that even Prototype Crescent is probably better. Honestly, if you don't have the bows mentioned above I wouldn't even recommend of getting him.
How bout the latest free bow the Windblume Ode, is it good for Childe?
The Viridescent Hunt? Yeah, it is good on him. If you don't have 5* bows, then it and Rust is a good option. The VH bow effect does work in his melee mode so you can slash away and use his charge attacks freely while the group of enemies are sucked in by the vortex and not thrown out.
Is BP bow a good weapon for childe?
U realize that 4 Piece Chiv is actually TRASH on childe? The 2 Piece bonus gives a PHYSICAL dmg bonus and childe does mostly HYDRO dmg. The two don't mix.
keqing is my main dps so would childe be a nice addition to my team?
So, why do they think a four star artifact set is worth anything? More so, why is Stringless on the list? Do they not understand that Childe's skill doesn't trigger weapon passives, because the skill itself technically only does a moment of damage when you switch, not for his attacks. Same reason you dont run Noblesse on Xiao.
If you want him as a main DPS for abyss or artifact farming, then no as a F2P player he isn't worth it, his cooldown is too much of a pain so without his C6 he isn't good for this kind of activity as a main DPS. If it's just to destroy mob on the world map, he is good at it with his AoE damage. He is also quite good as a sub DPS at C0.
being a f2p player is so hard, it's either spending money on genshin or saving up enough primogems for pity on a banner, which takes a long ass time if you're AR 40+
your way of typing makes no sense and 4pc chivalry is actually decent, no person with a brain uses rust over viridescent hunt
Do you guys think that he’s still worth pulling for for a f2p player. I like that he’s melee and ranged but I don’t wanna have to pay a lot of primogems tbh
