neuvillette and furina dont use oceanid drops. furinas boss is hydro tulpa and neuvi boss is seahorse
Today I learned that Wanderer can just fly over the death explosion of birbs and frogs.
If you can get Kirara, you basically got the win button unless you got Raptors, in which case switch to Lisa. Switching frequently and relying on Hyperbloom is always an option too
Its a nighmare for staters who have no ranged dps, its even impossible. Very stupid fight, because that birds.

Bro I dont even have a bow or catalyst that are lvl 50. How is this fair? Man I'm not gonna waste time leveling up my Barbara since I alrdy have Bennet and I'm not gonna waste time leveling up Amber for obvious reasons

Yes. My setup (no food needed): Keqing [DPS, prepare burst before start, use it only to defeat Hawk], Razor [DPS], Kaeya [Sub-DPS, Freeze], Barbara [use Skill to heal]
you run to the verge of the platform, jump up and do a plunging attack in the water! as long as you’re below the surface, you’re not gonna get hit
i triggered the submerge of the oceanid at the start of the battle.
Honestly there's not like any one thing that makes the Oceanid such a frustrating and annoying fight, it's the combination of randomized mobs, endless AOE, the tiles going away, no geo constructs allowed, and the timer on killing mobs. The boss punishes both careful dodging and trying to dps race it. The result is that there's nothing to learn, you just have to jump in and hope you're lucky with the mobs. Goose + frogs? Reload.
gotta go to the statue in liyue and change out from hydro to geo.. easy fix. will beat oceanid 100%. tried it with my friends and we obliterated oceanid in about 7 minutes
you can’t place the constructs in water and the whole arena is slightly underwater
how do you beat oceanid with 4 barbaras?
Is it just me or do Geo constructs like MC's spheres or Zhongli's pillar not work on those platforms
This is the boss that convinced me to quit this game.
