Hi! Thanks for checking out our guide. To answer your question, Skull Breaker was slotted in primarily for burst damage against staggered bosses. Regularly stunning mobs puts the build at a disadvantage, as thorns require enemies to deal damage to you, and being stunned prevents them from doing so.

also to further answer your question, steel grasp and the ultimate key passive keep you in berserk pretty much infinitely so no real need for it. The damage reduction from frenzy and flay stacked together is more beneficial

don’t know why he didn’t answer you for some reason…. Basically when you hit your max stacks of frenzy, switch to flay until you hit max stacks again and just rotate combining the two together at max stacks your damage reduction heavily. Plus you’re getting extra thorns. Also if you are using this and playing solo AND you must have the barber heart, don’t use two handed axe expertise use two handed sword switch your shout passive off of the one that heals nearby players to cut to the bone

Why did you put points in Flay? I know you get thorns from using it, but you dont use it in your rotations. Would wrath of the berserker be better to just increase the amount of time you would be raging and with the death wish aspect have those thorns for longer?
