It's so much different than the normal one. They have increased the gore to look like more "realistic". In short, there are less censored parts (or not censored at all).
I heard japan has Z version of the game. How does it differ from the normal version?
Why would they reduce the gore though? it's not on first person so you can't really see each and every detail of the game. Also, they have age rating for this game right? I don't understand why would they reduce the gore.

The only use he has in this remake is his ID. So that you can loot things inside the police station.
This time, nemesis is only after Jill and not Brad. Very disappointing. and Jill didn't saw how brad died, so brad really became a meme character here. F
Brad's death at the police station is really a disappointment for me, he just died like a normal infected policemen not like the original where he gets stab by Nemesis tentacles
I don't think so. they're blocking the way but you can move slowly to prevent them from noticing you. just try 'em out, dude. GL!
Adding an option to toggle gore would be nice for others who aren't fond of very sensitive contents

Bummer that Brad died like this way he could've just died on the hands of nemesis and eat those tentacles of his to brad's mouth. turns out he just died as a zombie.
Nope this is a zombie game where gore is given and normal. I mean how do you eat humans by just biting them? NO! you eat them whole and open their insides and have a feast on their stomach, intestines! i really want that from a zombie game
omg what do you have on Zion Williamson hahahahaha well indeed Jill and Carlos etc have plot armor. almost everything does in a fictional game. we want drama and storytelling not a detailed account of how the Nemesis killed Jill in the apartment in the beginning
Raters said RE2 Remake was too gory. Indeed they needed to tone down the gore. Nothing against that hehe Gore isnt really what makes RE.
