samuel is damage class unit? i really don't know about that he's like a very tanky character

Samuel can be very strong or extremely weak depending on the player who is using it. If you can get all the equipment that increases the damage, Sam can dominate all the enemies he encounters.

Side note: didn't realize Brawler: Focus passive affected the whole party like an aura. This makes Sam a team utility aswell. He would even pair well with Tyrone, having Tyrone buff resistance while Sam can increase party damage all-around plus self-sustain.

Rank 20 on Sam (still grinding for ultimate skill heal). I find Sam to excel as a solo players character. If you're team isn't communicating and you need to carry you can run around solo and stay alive without items due to self-heals that include infection removal. DO NOT skip out on a gun, you will get wrecked by traps trying to mellee them. At least buy a gun to shoot traps and exploder zombies. Selfish character, but self-reliant.
