When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Ylgr are +Spd and -Def. The effects of her Sylgr depend on Ylgr having a high Spd stat. This makes it the best stat to take a boon in. Taking a bane in Def would balance it with her Res, which is ideal, so it is the best bane she can take as HP is a superbane.

This is a simple Push-Desperation set for Ylgr. Atk/Spd Push 4 provides Atk/Spd and a mechanic to safely go into Desperation range. Her other pickups are geared towards maximizing Atk/Spd more.

Ylgr is a ranged physical attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent toher Atk minus the foe's Def stat.
Sylgr grants +4 Atk/Spd if Ylgr's Spd is higher than the foes' Spd. This theoretically allows for automatic follow-up attacks as long as Ylgr's Spd is at least 1 point higher than the Spd of the enemy
If the offensive boost is not enough to take out the enemy, it inflicts -7 Def/Res to the foe and all targets within 2 spaces of it. This makes it easy for Ylgr's allies to finish them off.
this theoretically allows for
Sorcery Blade 3 calculates damage using the lower defense stat as long as Ylgr is adjacent to a magic ally at the start of the turn. It is very easy to consistently meet the trigger conditions, but the effects are very powerful. It allows Ylgr to engage units with very high Def, but low Res like L!Ike and Duo Ephraim.
Spd Tactic 3 allows Ylgr to give Spd +6 to her allies within 2 spaces for 1 turn, as long as there are no more than two of that ally's movement type on the team. This makes it easy for her allies to secure folow-up attacks, and is great for a mixed mobility party.
Ylgr's Def and Res sit at only 26 and 24 respectively. This makes her extremely fragile. We recommend making sure that after she applies debuffs, an ally is nearby and ready to finish off the debuffed enemy so that she would not get attacked and taken out.
One of the main strengths of a standard colorless dagger unit is the ability to ignore type advantage and provide good coverage. Because Ylgr is of the blue attribute, she has less coverage compared to her colorless counterparts. Needless to say, she deals heavy damage against red units so make sure to take advantage.
