Tsuruko SembaTsuruko Semba ・Great long-range attacker who can also keep the team healthy through her healing zones.

・Agile and easy to use.
　┗ Avoids damage more easily with fine movement control.

・Ultimate grants the party %HP recovery when HP is low.
　┗ This has high tension gauge cost.
Kazuki AoyamaKazuki Aoyama ・Melee attacker with high Break Ability.

・Supports allies by granting them a shield.

・Ultimate power scales with HP.
　┗ Able to balance durability and offense well.
Miu JujoMiu Jujo ・Long-range attacker who has various damage sources. High attack ability but low break ability.
　┗Has the ability to place Luminous Crystals that attack enemies within a certain range.

・High burst damage from Ultimate.
　┗ Tension gauge cost is only 1, very usable.
Hinagiku AkibaHinagiku Akiba ・Melee attacker who excels at charge attacks.

・Can parry attacks while charging attacks.
　┗ Combining follow-up attacks after a successfully parry breaks enemies.

・Her Ultimate Ability grants all enemies Attention and a defense debuff.
　┗ This increases allies' damage output.

・Can also perform area attacks as you build her more.

・Has high Attack Ability and good Break Ability.

Roku SaigoRoku Saigo ・A tank who's skilled at drawing enemies' attention.

・Applies Attention with both Primary and Secondary attacks.
　┗ Highly suitable as a tank in NPC-controlled situations.

・Has many tools for damage reduction or defense boost.

・Fairly easy to use, and has high Support Ability and Break Ability but low Attack Ability.
QQ ・Melee attacker whose damage increases through rapid attacks.
　┗ Can perform an AoE attack using his Ultimate Skill.

・In "Berserk" state, attacks gain dodge/parry effects.
　┗ Can avoid damage and break enemies efficiently.

・High Break Ability, as well as good Attack Ability and Support Ability.

・Can function as a tank.
　┗ Applies Attention when using his Strategy Skill.
Yo KuronakaYo Kuronaka ・Melee attacker with high Break Ability, but slightly low Attack Ability.

・Strategy Skill efficiently breaks enemies.

・His Ultimate deals multi-hit high damage.
Jio TakinogawaJio Takinogawa ・Close-range melee attacker who increases damage output via DoT .

・His Chain Skill and AoE attacks scale damage efficiently.

・Passive expansion 1 grants defense debuff.
　┗ Doubles as sub-attacker and flexi-support.

・Good Attack Ability and Support Ability, but slightly low Break Ability.
Enoki YukigayaEnoki Yukigaya ・Melee attacker who excels with dodge/parry.
　┗ Her normal attack powers up after a perfect dodge.

・Skill at 32 Heat stacks deals high damage.

・Requires good player skill to maximize DPS potential .

・High Attack Ability, but low Break Ability.
Tsuki IrohaTsuki Iroha ・Late-bloomer long-range attacker.

・Can grant crit rate boosts to allies.

・Has moderate Break Ability and Attack Ability.

・Her Ultimate deals severe AoE damage, and is very valuable in most boss fights.

・Has the potential to contribute as a support after investing in her Passives.

▶Consumes stamina and is good for breaking enemy stance
Counterattack
▶Triggered in response to enemy attacks; greatly lowers their stance if successful
Chain Skill
▶Triggered by allies after breaking an enemy
Tension Gauge
▶Fills by using chain skills
Required to use tension cards and ultimate skills
Ultimate
▶Powerful skill that consumes tension gauge

Tier List Rating and Explanation

1. We take into consideration the performance without Transcendence.
2. There's a focus on damage efficiency from attack multipliers
　┗ Tanks and supports are evaluated on a separate axis.
3. CPU performance is also taken into consideration.
4. A low rating does not necessarily mean the character is useless.

Considering Character Performance at 0 Transcend

The current ranking is based on performance without Transcending characters. Please refer to the individual character guides for the tier ranking which account for character Transcendance.

Focus on Damage Efficiency

The most important factor in ranking is damage efficiency in battle. We give a high rating to characters who can play an active role in a wide range of situations.

The tier list also takes into account things such as attack range and damage output against groups or single targets.

Tanks and Supports are Evaluated on a Different Scale

We evaluate tanks and supports on a different scale from attackers in terms of versatility and skill range, since these roles contribute more than just damage.

CPU Performance is Taken into Consideration

In TRIBE NINE, two other characters can be used in battle as CPUs in addition to the character controlled by the player, and their contribution is also a point of evaluation. We especially highly rate the characters who can do commands like "attracting the opponent's attack" and "recovering health," which make it easier for the player to get around when attacking bosses.

Low Ranking Characters are Not Useless

A character with a Rank B or lower is a relative evaluation, considering aspects such as inferiority in damage efficiency or less synergy with implemented characters. These lower rated rated characters are relatively compared to a character with a Rank A or higher.

So, it does not necessarily mean that the Rank B or lower character has nothing to bring to the table. This is an action game, so any character can be fully utilized through organization and outstanding execution.
