It's highly recommended to practice the counterattack against Endrone's attacks while controlling Yo Kuronaka, especially if you have to engage in close range fights.
It's also good to try Tsuki Iroha for ranged attacks and long-range fighting.
If you already pulled limited characters via gacha, feel free to use them to make winning easier.
This fight is a great opportunity to practice boss-breaking techniques for future boss battles.
Landing a counterattack disrupts the enemy’s posture, so use counters often and always follow up with chain skills to stack damage. Time your counterattacks to Endrone's many drawn-out attack animations.

You can progress through an XB match by choosing the correct responses to your opponent’s lines. In Chapter 0, simply choosing the tile options that show “SUGGEST” on the left side of the screen will help you win.
Take note that you don't need to use Verity Orbs for the XB battle against Zero.

Stop the dial when the lines connect.

| 6 | Tap skip intro and return to Step 1. |
Once the mail feature is unlocked, rerolling is highly recommended.
TRIBE NINE’s reroll process is very quick, taking only about 1 minute per cycle, so it’s a good idea to aim for hard-to-get ★3 pickup characters via rerolling.
| Basic Battle Flow | |
|---|---|
| 1 | ![]() Focus on Primary Attacks during the opening. |
| 2 | ![]() Take note when an orange border around enemy's HP appears, as this indicates Break chain. This means you have an opportunity to deal more damage and use more skills. |
| 3 | ![]() Break enemy's posture with Counterattacks or Secondary Attacks. |
| 4 | ![]() Trigger Chain Skills. It's recommended to always follow up with Chain Skills when you break an enemy's posture. |
| 5 | ![]() Fill the Tension Gauge and unleash your Ultimate. |
After clearing the initial game section, you’ll be guided through the battle tutorial.
Even early on, enemy attacks hit hard, so it is highly recommended to practice dodging and countering while learning the Break → Chain Skill → Ultimate sequence.
| Battle Terminology Explanation |
|---|
| Primary Attack ▶Does not consume stamina Secondary Attack ▶Consumes stamina and is good for breaking enemy stance Counterattack ▶Triggered in response to enemy attacks; greatly lowers their stance if successful Chain Skill ▶Triggered by allies after breaking an enemy Tension Gauge ▶Fills by using chain skills Required to use tension cards and ultimate skills Ultimate ▶Powerful skill that consumes tension gauge |
![]() Strike enemies before they see you |
![]() Start battle with 2 tension gauges |
Attacking enemies before they notice you lets you start the battle with extra tension gauge.
If you're spotted and attacked instead, enemies gain the tension boost—so try to always land the first hit.
Using long-ranged characters is always recommended as fighting from range keeps you safer.
In TRIBE NINE, battles are fought with 1 player-controlled character and 2 NPC allied party members.
If battles are tough, you ideally should have your party members take the front line while you deal damage from range.

After rerolling, continue progressing while exploring the lower level of 24 City. As you proceed through the area, be sure to collect treasure chests and trash bins along the way—they often contain valuable upgrade materials.
