Benefits of Downloading the Game |
---|
・You can play immediately after purchase ・You do not need to switch out the game disk to play ・When saved to your console, it loads faster ・You can receive Gold Points ・No risk of losing the game |
The Super Smash Bros. Ultimate digital version can be played immediately after purchase. There is no need to travel to a store or wait to get home to play the game. As soon as downloading finishes, you can start it up from your Nintendo Switch.
With a downloaded version of the game, you will no longer have to switch out game discs to play. Unlike the physical version that requires you to take out and re-insert each game you want to play, the downloaded version can simply be selected from the Switch's home menu.
When saved to your console, loading up the game will take less time, allowing you to jump right into battles.
The digital version of the game will net you 4% more Gold Points than the physical version.
There is no risk of losing the game with the digital version. After downloading the game, your purchase information is managed by your Nintendo account. If you often lose or misplace games, a digital version is the way to go.
Benefits of Buying a Physical Copy |
---|
・You can sell the game after you play it ・The game can be bought at a lower price ・Pre-order benefits ・No disk space required on console |
One benefit of buying a physical copy is that you can sell it after you are done playing. Unlike the digital version, the physical copy can net you a profit if you wish to sell it after buying it.
Unlike the digital version, which stays at the official full price, a physical copy could be bought at a lower price.
Buying a physical copy of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate may have pre-order benefits depening on the store you purchase it from.
With a physical copy, you do not have to free up storage space on your console to play. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate takes up a large 16GB. It may be difficult or impossible to play without deleting some other downloads you have on your console. If you purchase a digital copy, buying an additional SD card for storage may be needed.
