List of Contents
The Midas River is a two part minigame where you have to collect as many coins as possible while you're being swept by the Midas River current. The first part is swimming down through a waterfall, while the second part is jumping on barrels on the river.
The rewards for this minigame are Frog Coins exchanged with the coins that you collected during your run; collecting more coins in a single run will entitle you to better exchange rates from coins to Frog Coins.

Midas River 100 Coins Guide and Map
Goomba Thumping is a minigame where you have to jump on many Goombas' heads as much as you can to earn points. This can be accessed from the Pipe Vault at the cost of 10 Coins a game.

Goomba Thumping Guide and Rewards
Yoshi Racing, also known as Mushroom Derby, is a race against other Yoshis to the finish line.
Mushroom Derby can be accessed after unlocking Yo'ster Isle. Once in the Yo'ster Isle entrance with a save point, enter the area at the bottom-left of the pipe and look for the Green Yoshi. Talk to this Yoshi to ride on his back. He is needed to participate in the Yoshi Race (Mushroom Derby).
Yoshi will ask you to talk to the other Yoshi for help. Make sure you do so, as some of the Yoshi you talk to will give you Yoshi Cookies for the race. In order to start the Yoshi Race, you will need Yoshi Cookies to wager with Boshi.

Yoshi Racing Guide and Rewards
Mine Car is a minigame playable in Moleville Mountain where you steer a minecart on tracks until you reach the end of the track. To play it, you need to either pay 10 or 30 coins.
Paying 10 coins gives no rewards and is just for playing the minigame for fun. Paying 30 coins means you will bet those coins, and you need to beat your previous record to receive the reward.

Moleville Mountain Guide and Rewards
Beetle Mania is a top-down shooter where you shoot red Koopa shells to earn points. The minigame can be accessed from the main menu after rescuing Peach from Marrymore, then purchasing Beetle Mania from the Mushroom Kingdom Inn for 500 Coins.
The Beetle Mania minigame is optional to the story and can be accessed anytime after fulfilling its unlock conditions. It is treated like a seperate game to play for fun, since it yields no rewards relevant to the game's overworld when completed.
Beetle Mania: How to Unlock and Rewards
You can play the Wheeere's Yoshi?! minigame at the end of a battle if you get a Lucky Bonus Flower during the battle. There are three ways of getting a Lucky Bonus Flower: defeating certain enemies that drop them, defeating an enemy with a timed hit using the Lucky Hammer, and using the Lucky Jewel item.
In this game, Yoshi will hide in one of three eggs, then the eggs will move around. You have to keep track of where Yoshi is and select it to get your reward.

If you win this minigame, only one of two outcomes will be applied: double EXP or double coins.
Not guessing Yoshi right can either lead to preserving your EXP and coins, or losing it all.
Booster Hill is a minigame that lets you run up Booster Hill and jump on barrels to speed up. It is a one-time minigame that can be played after defeating Knife Guy and Grate Guy.
After you play the minigame of chasing Booster carrying Peach once, you won't be able to play it anymore. It gets replaced by the Beetle Chase minigame instead.
You need to buy a Beetle Box at Seaside Town every time you want to play this minigame.
In the Booster Chase minigame, whenever you manage touch Peach, she'll give you a Flower, which gives you 1 max FP.
It's a good idea to save before attempting this one-time minigame, allowing you to reset and attempt to get as much Flowers as you can. It's possible to get more than 10 Flowers, which is a nice bonus to your party's max FP!

Booster Hill Guide and Rewards
Once you've reached the halfway point of Booster Tower, you will get into a minigame where you have to interact with the Booster's family portraits from oldest to youngest. The answer can be found upon entering the tower on the second floor of the entrance.

Once you complete the puzzle, you'll be rewarded with the Elder Key, to be used for the door beside the portraits. The Chain Chomp weapon is located behind this door.
Booster Family Order Puzzle Solution and Rewards
The Sky Bridge minigame can be played at Land's End. It involves crossing a floating bridge while avoiding Bullet Bills and the gaps. There are three courses, each netting different rewards: Normal, Special, and Expert.
Valuable rewards include Coins and Frog Coins with the option to multiply earnings with each pass of the course. You can win as much as 4 Frog Coins, making this game a good option for farming such rewards.

The Paratroopa Cliff Scale minigame can be played at Land's End. It involves scaling a cliff in the shortest record time by jumping on Paratroopas.

Paratroopa Cliff Scale Guide and Rewards
At Melody Bay, songs can be played for Toadofsky by jumping on the tadpoles in the water. You'll be able to learn songs as you progress through certain points in the game; playing them for Toadofsky will make him give you rewards.

Unlocking Frog songs rewards players membership cards and upgrades for the Juice Bar in Tadpole Pond. Each membership card gives Mario access to items like Elixirs and Tadpola Colas at a discount.
In Belome Temple, you can get your fortune told, and will receive something depending on the order you hit the statues. There are six possible orders to hitting the statues: in four of the orders, you can get a reward, but in two of the orders you'll get into a battle with some enemies instead.

Belome Temple Fortune and Best Order
In the Sunken Ship, you'll have to go through some puzzle rooms to progress. There are six puzzle rooms that you need to solve.

Knife Guy's Juggling Game is a minigame that makes players guess which hand Knife Guy's yellow ball is in. It is unlocked by speaking with Knife Guy inside Booster Tower, after defeating him and Grate Guy beforehand.

Knife Guy's Juggling Game: How to Win and Rewards
In Grate Guy's Casino, there are three minigames that you can play. Grate Guy's Casino is a secret location that requires you to get membership, and needing to go through a secret passage to reach.

Look the Other Way is one of the three minigames in Grate Guy's Casino, and it is the only one that can be played for free there. To play the game, Mario has to look in the opposite direction of where Grate Guy will raise his finger.

Prize Blocks is another minigame in Grate Guy's Casino. In this game, you'll have to hit the slot machine three times, and you need to have three matching symbols to win a reward.

Marrymore Hotel's Bellhop is a minigame that you can access by renting the deluxe suit of the Marrymore Hotel and then overstaying to the point of getting bankrupt. The minigame is easy as you only need to guide customers to their rooms.
The Marrymore Hotel Bellhop minigame is optional to the story and can be accessed in Marrymore Hotel after fulfilling its unlock conditions. It is a minigame that you can do if you're in debt by staying too much in the deluxe suite of the hotel and since you're working as a bellhop, you can sometimes get tips from customers staying in the suite.

The Marrymore Wedding is a minigame where you retrieve all of Princess Peach's accessories from the running Snifsters within the wedding hall.

Dodo Statue is a short minigame in Nimbus Land where you have to pretend to be a statue, jumping at the right time to avoid being pecked by Dodo. This minigame can only be played once in the story.

In the Bowser's Keep Trial Course, there are six doors to choose, and you'll have to complete four to proceed. There are two action courses, two battle courses, and two puzzle courses among the six doors.

The Puzzle Courses are a set of three different puzzle challenges. Each puzzle between both sets are wildly different from each other, with minigames that include quizzes, riddles, and more.

Dr. Topper Quiz
One of the minigames in one of the courses the Puzzle Course is Dr. Topper's Quiz, where he asks a bunch of questions about random trivia throughout the game that you have to answer correctly.
Barrel Counting
After Dr. Topper Quiz, the next puzzle is where you need to count the barrels in the current room twice in a row. You must also count the barrels hidden by the camera angle! Some are under the other barrels meaning that you have to count them too.

Triathlon Puzzle
Triathlon Puzzle is the third minigame following Barrel Counting, where you have to solve a riddle. There are four monsters in the room that went in a triathlon and you have to interview each of them to determine the order they finished in based on the answers they give.
Coin Collecting
In the other Puzzle Course, the first minigame is the Coin Collecting Puzzle. There's a chest with 21 coins between you and Dr. Topper, and you have to take turns taking coins out of it. During your turns, you can take 1-4 coins out of the chest. The one who gets the 21st coin in the chest loses.

Magic Buttons
In the next room, you'll find a bunch of buttons arranged in a 4x4 grid, and your goal is to have them all pressed simultaneously. The way the buttons work is that if you press one, all adjacent unpressed buttons will be pressed, and all unpressed buttons will be pressed.
Ball Solitaire
In the final room, you'll find a bunch of iron balls arranged in a 4x4 grid. Your goal is to kick all iron balls into other iron balls to make them bounce once, until only one iron ball is left.
