You can quickly run around the stage even on areas without your team's ink by taking advantage of the rolling speed of this weapon. Use this to also dodge enemy ink attacks as you'll be on the frontlines often.
Start building up your Special-Gauge meter at the start of the match by rolling areas with ink. Use Zipcaster as soon as you gain access to it to swing around the map and land behind enemy Inklings to get an easy splat.
If you start getting shot at by ranged weapons, throw in an Autobomb directly at them to distract the enemy and use this time to swim away and reposition to safety!
