How to Get Lagombi

Find Near the Wintertide Tunnel Mouth

To progress the A Monstrous Riddle, you will need a Lagombi. You can easily find a Lagombi loitering near the Wintertide Tunnel Mouth! It is recommended to use a Yian Kut-Ku to fight it since it is weak to fire and technical attacks.

After getting its health low, throw a paintball at the Lagombi before defeating it! To ensure the retreat, knock it down with a Sonic Bomb.

Find in Darj Snowfields

You can find Lagombi and their egg nests in Darj Snowfields. With a Qurupeco's Monster Call, you can lure them out and possibly make them retreat!

Make Lagombi Retreat

To get guaranteed Lagombi eggs, you can make them retreat by following the conditions above conditions. Afterwards, follow them to their den and gather an egg from their nest while Lagombi is sleeping!

Optionally, you can get the Den Protector skill to further increase the chances of Lagombi retreating. You can get this skill early with the Pink Rathian's armor, Rath Heart Armor!
