How to Use Clay Furnace

Build Next to Storehouse

Constructing your Clay Furnace next to or near a Storehouse will guarantee faster transportation of Clay and Firewood needed for the building to start producing Rooftiles.

Keep Fueled

The Clay Furnace requires Firewood in order to start producing Rooftiles or Charcoal if you have the Charcoal Kiln unlocked.

If you have workers assigned to the building, they will automatically fuel your Clay Furnace. Though, if you would like to manage your settlement's stock of fuel, you may limit its use in the building by setting Fuel Reserves

What to Do if Clay Furnace is Not Working

Check if You Have Fuel

Confirm if your building is refueled from the indicator on the general tab and and consider setting your Fuel Reserves to 0. It might also take your workers a bit of time to transport Fuel if it is distant from a storehouse, causing shortage of fuel from time to time.

Reload a Previous Save

If you can confirm that your Clay Furnace is fueled enough to start production yet no Rooftiles are being produced, we recommend reloading a previous save file in order to fix this issue.
