Ok i saw the teams above for Ayato... and none there is the best team that is (i even tried and the vapo team still worse) Ayato Furina Jean (if C4 would be noice) Yun-jin you cut you dice you slice. And the order is : Furina Skill, Ulty / Ayato Ulty / Yun-jin Ulty (if you have the Def polearm + skill) / Jean (Skill if C4+ if below skip), Ulty / Ayato Skill
Probably SSS tier, he just standing there playing with his sword while other kicking his ass.
His attacks from his E Skill don't count as skill damage but normal attack damage so only his water clone explosion will benefit from golden troupe
but his e is not off field dmg. only 2pc works no?

He might've been forgotten by many, but a good artefact set for him currently could be Golden Troupe due to Ayato's BnB being E skill

Hi Staff, The line - "Currently the only Hydro character that can deal AoE DMG over a large area for a long time." is no longer true (Neuvilette, etc.)
he is still objectively a good pick for dps/driver tbh. has low cd E onfield and long lasting huge aoe off field application Q. has all the qol needed and good dmg at c0 for ez abyss 36* even on mobile or for lazy player like me xD
miko got done dirty with unnecessary/clunky time wasting animations. ayato "too balanced". then yelan overtuned.
the devs were clearly fumbling around the end of inazuma. they struggled with balancing.
sad that he got flopped by childe in reaction and neuvi in pure damage. why hoyo did otto expy this dirty?
it is his 2nd bis but the dmg increase is only around ~4% from gladiator so not worth to farm if your gladiator is already good.
I wonder if Nymph’s Dream set is good on him? I know the other sets (Echoes and HoD) are typically good for him, but kinda curious on his performance with ND
Even as off field DPS, you're probably better off using Fav, Ayato can barely use the Amenoma passive
