With the burst and basic attacks
When a new Blazing Barrier is obtained, the remaining DMG Absorption of an existing Blazing Barrier will stack and its duration will be refreshed. How does one obtain another Blazing Barrier if the duration of the sheild is 8s and cd is 15s
Why not pyro bonus? His burst deals pyro damage. If you don't have one, then you should equip the attack gob, the HP bonus for his burst is pretty low so it's not worth investing in HP if you want to deal damage.
Thoma seems like an ok choice to pair with: c6 Noelle, Albedo, and Gorou. If I wanted to use an energy recharge sands, would a hp gob or attack gob be better for burst damage?
maybe because he has 699 defense and not 699 attack
His shield scales off HP
Staff of Homa is not good on him, not even on physical dmg Thoma, and I don't know why every single guide I've seen says it is.
I don't think his atk is 699...
Jokes on you I main him as a Physical Main DPS and I'm having a blast. Party is Thoma+Bennett+Xingqiu+Raiden/Rosaria.
he deals alone 5-6k dmg on a normal hit with jade spear. that should be the recommendation. and his skill on level 4 does 12k while ult does (non hp build) 3-4k on level 3. on homa he does way less dmg even if his crit dmg over 200 and rate over 50 (notice you need to play him not recommended like here as sub or support but as main to trigger the super high atk with jade spear)
The recommendation to use shogun only as battery for thoma who is only praised here as support due to artifacts is such a waste. If you either build shogun or thoma on atk/crit tehy do HECK of dmg. If you build shogun on main dps she can take out all alone plus thoma constant overload. if you build thoma on pure atk with pyro dmg and level first skill HE can take out evertything alone and she provides reaction dmg. using them as support feels like a waste to me, especially on thoma
is skyward spine good for him? as it has er as substat or bad because of its passive?
Since I alck playtime in gi this is what I am going to do diluc thoma sucrose and kaeya (shield with thoma swirl sucrose then kaeya after that diluc) ofc it will take time for my to build but I will do my best to give u guys the result
I will test c0 thoma when I get him(yes I am going to sacrifice 10pulls from my itto)
Xiangling is the best at apply pryo and dealing pryo dmg which cannot be replaced(yet)
The best for him I would say is the catch for spam burst or black tassel for shield not homa I would rather u use black tassel than homa as its hp is higher than homa the recommended talent I would give is 1 6 6 or 1 8 8 depending how far u want to go with him
Give him a good er weapon
He's a good sheilder but not good at dealer dmg like xingqiu
For shield black tassel is better due to hp sec stat wavebreaker's is basically useless since he can't deal decent dmg The most important for thoma is getting his burst ready and scaling his hp for better shield min 180 er
