How much damage you can make then? even reach 15k per hit?
Umm... have you actually tried it before? It has the highest base atk among 4 star weapons and provides you with energy recharge. The passive is also pretty useful so long you have a decent amount of crit. Refinements make it even better. Having a decent amount of energy recharge and providing energy particles as you crit means more uptime on your Q which also means higher damage per second.
agreed that xiao is pretty f2p unfriendly but that isn't true, i used to main xiangling before getting him so i used all my prototypes on crescent pike which isn't that good for him but im still able to do 25k per plunge
Lol im a f2p and uses the crescent pike and im pretty powerful tbh lol not like 20k dmg per plunge but strong enough to kill a ruin guard less than a min (of course with the help of my team albedo and jean) lol
@33 Anon: Iron Sting is a 1h sword. If all you have is craftable polearm, I'd go with prototype starglitter. The +ER and passive bonus to charged attack isn't bad.
bad with f2p weapon? give up? iron sting is already a great weapon for xiao f2p style gameplay, heck mine can even do 10k per plunge attack at level 60, talent level 4 since he's a great dps unit even with f2p 4 star forged weapons, not all players need him to play 50k damage per plunge attack to speedrun bosses lol, though I can probably do that once my xiao reaches level 90 later on, with f2p spear

yeahhh hopefully the 4-piece set artifact leaks that gives additional plunge damage will be true.
okay, so i did some quick testing myself and it doesn't seem like noblesse +20% elemental burst dmg works sadly...
does anyone know if the two set noblesse effect (+20% elemental burst dmg) continuously work throughout his burst? if so then it'd be better to have that then the ameno dmg bonus from the viridescent set.

xiao is bad for f2p weapon. Just give up.

I totally agree, both of his skills and burst offer exploration capabilities too...
Xiao should be placed on SS Tier for Exploration. His Passive Talent for Climbing and his E Skill makes exploring twice as fast especially when you glide/climb around the overworld. (+ Anemo Resonance)
I am using Favonious spear, it suits well IMO. it has high base damage, energy recharge substat, and generates energy particles on crit hit. I get back to batman mode pretty quickly hehe..
Xiao deserves to be on top, coz when his Q is up, with consecutive plunges, the enemy can barely hit him, while he tears them apart with AoE damage, he is like Superman, so OP that Mihoyo had to invent Hp loss kryptonite for him LoL...
