the duck duck boss can be beat with any sort of aoe electro. clorinde, miko, fischl, kuki, and pretty much every electro out there can handle it. clorinde in particular has insanely fast electro application that can even gap lunarcharged ineffa.
Sub-dps and support are clearly separate roles and trying to treat them as one would needlessly confuse things. Currently a character will be ranked in each role they are good at, be it 1 role or all 3, so there is no reason to combine 2 different roles' rankings.
support and sub DPS should be same since newest trend should be doing multiple roles like esco, just being a sub DPS while providing trash buffs are just not worth it in the long run
no their not how do I classify esco then? She deals off field DMG gives buffs and heals so is she a (sub DPS, support, sustainer all In one??)
The duck duck boss does not need the matching elements. I kill the mobs with overload. So escoffie can be used. Also the shield phase is skipable with enough damage. 100k is nice, if it hits every few seconds and i think for SS in subdps enought.

Hahahah good joke, a normal electro charge team can easily handle the ineffa chilled boss so no there's no reason to get her at all, especially since the starting characters of a new versions are usually bait, the meta characters are usually gonna be in the later to middle patch like with 5.x where the meta started with mav
yeah the bar is so low so obviously ineffa will be better in electro charge team but that's about it, none of the previous electro subdps offer any buffs, only one who provides buff is raidens but that's kinda useless in EC teams. Fishcl and ororon offer no buffs in their kit. So it's not hard to beat them that's why ineffa is bis, not because she is insane but the completion for electro sub DPS is a low bar to begin with
why tf u bringing up duck duck boss idc about shill, ineffa is as useless against the skirk boss so not talking about matchups. In terms of overall power, esco just gaps ineffa since all ineffa has to offer is damage and sustain, whereas esco offers damage, buffs and sustain.
And what can esco do against duck-duck boss? It's not about the buff but about competition. Ineffa is better than Fischl, Yae, Raiden and Ororon in electro-charged reaction, and also clears nod-krai lunar blocks. These are the reasons to get and upgrade her.
build her with only em, ignore attack and crit it does not matter
my ineffa has 300 em (goes upto 500+), 2k ATK and 80/145 crit, but only deals 50k at max. I don't have her signature nor C1 though.

100k on a sub DPS is nothing if they don't provide good buffs, a fully built escof can hit like 40 to 50k off field DPS each hit on top of providing insane buffs, I'd rather take that over dealing more sub DPS but have trash buffs for the main dps
i wouldn't exactly call characters like skirk and clorinde underrated
100k is nothing. people seem to have the mindset that 100k > 40k + 40k + 40k, and underrate the characters that deal many small hits.
damn 100k these days look underwhelming even for a sub dps especially when we get stuff like mav dealing 1.5m to 2m burst and around 400k melt charge. Ineffa has to deal damage since that's her only purpose since her buffs are shit compared to someone who is a sub DPS that can give actual good buffs like esco
