Tips before Challenging

Monsters are immune to stun as well as take reduced damage from attacks that cause damage proportional to max health.
Prioritize bringing heroes that don't deal damage proportional to their max health. Or, just power through this by making sure your heroes have a high enough Attack that this won't even be a problem.
Heroes recover less health.
Using Heroes with increased stats in both Speed and Attack, you can limit the chances monsters have attacking you. You won't need to recover health if you don't get it.
Monsters have increased Effectiveness and Effect Resistance.
Use Critical Hit Chance as well as Speed to your advantage and brute strength your way to defeat the monsters immediately. Eventually, you'll be able to find devices that can provide debuffs that ignore Effect Resistance against monsters.

Enemies

Enemies
Luminescent Watcher Icon.pngLuminescent Watcher Gunfire Cevita Icon.pngGunfire Cevita

These two monsters are a scary combination.

Luminescent Watcher casts a buff on all allies, increasing their Defense for 3 turns.

While Gunfire Cevitas deal a lot of damage while incrasing their Combat Readiness whenever an ally attacks.

Gunfire Cevitas are already tanky to begin with, while being able to hit really hard. Adding Luminescent Watcher's increase Defense buff will just make them even tankier.

Start by getting rid of the Luminescent Watchers. We don't need them granting Defense buffs to the Gunfire Cevitas more than they already have. Defense Break them to try and get through their heightened Defense and quickly get them out of the way.

Once they're gone, focus on the remaining Gunfire Cevitas.

This battle is meant to last long to whittle your Team's Health down before the last floor.

Heal whenever you can and finally move onto the last floor of the Automaton Tower.

Enemies: Cleanses debuffs when hit with attacks that target all units. Guide: Bring units that attack all enemies, and a debuffer. Really showing the quality of 'guides' on sites like this..
