>>311235 >>311234 100oooo, to make the alt you create another profile on your Switch since all profiles on the same Switch get put on the same island for acnh. However many alt players you want, you just create that many Switch profiles for and start playing acnh as them to get them on the island. To get a 2nd island you need to have a 2nd Switch and a cartridge copy of the game or you have to buy the game again as download.

Then, you can decorate their house, have their house as additional storage, and keep them diy dumb during holidays so when you play as them you can collect the seasonal/holiday diy and have them available to give to others that missed the events since once a character knows them, the diy don't show up on your island in balloons again for that character and any villagers crafting them will just give materials instead of the diy to you...

It's great with teamwork to get the whole thing done in a few hours of craziness, but the stress of trying to do it alone would be so much more drawn out and worse with the decline weeks. Sometimes I invite a villager again just to see if I can get their picture sooner than the previous attempt. The problem I have now is I really like my rotating villager and how I did his house, so even though I got his pic already I don't want to boot him to try for a different one. I still need to do some dlc houses to get some npc photos I don't have yet, too.
