Pokemon Box Link is a Key Item in Pokemon Sword and Shield, Isle of Armor, and the Crown Tundra DLC. Find out its effects, how to get it, as well as tips on when and how to use it.

Effect A device that allows you to access the Pokemon storage system. There are some places where it won't work.

Pokemon Box Link will allow you to change members of your party even if you are away from a Pokemon Center.

Note that you cannot use the Box Link while in the middle of story competitions.

How to Get Pokemon Box Link

Story Item

Sonia will give you access to Pokemon Box Link before you enter the Wild Area for the first time.

This will allow you to freely change your Pokemon while you go on a catching spree as you explore the Wild Area!
