How to Beat Belial

Belial Strategy

Belial Retreats at 70% HP

The fight with Belial is actually a two-part battle as it will retreat when Eve manages to take its HP down to 70%.

You will encounter Belial again in the later part of the Eye of the Hurricane main mission.

Eye of the Hurricane Mission Guide

Defeat Belial Three Times

The real battle begins during the second time you encounter Belial. This battle will be a long one since Belial regenerates to full HP twice.

You will need to defeat Belial a total of three times in order to achieve victory. Be aware however, that every time Belial regenerates, there will be new moves added to its skillset.

Blink Immediately When Belial Regenerates

After a successful regeneration to full HP, Belial will immediately perform a Rushing Lunge, which is a blinkable attack. Perform a Blink once it emits a blue light.

How to Blink

Utilize Beta Skills and Burst Skills

Stop enemy attacks by using Beta Skills and utilize the invincibility frame given by the Burst Skills when trying to cheese away from certain enemy attacks.

You can accumulate Beta Energy by doing Perfect Parries while Burst Energy is gathered by performing Perfect Dodges.

Use Tachy Mode in the Last Battle

After Belial's third time reviving itself, it gets a bit harder as it has now more moves and is stronger than ever. Utilizing Tachy Mode in this final battle will be the optimal solution

Tachy Mode can keep Belial at bay with its continuous attacks and fatal damage.

Tachy Mode

Learn Judgment Time

Learning the Judgment Time skill before this battle is recommended as it allows Eve to use Tachy Mode longer.
