Step by Step Walkthrough | |
1 | The path shown above is the fastest route to the Take-Minakata boss fight, but it is recommended to talk to Demons on Demon Recon duty since you can recruit more Demons this way as well as get money or other useful items. |
2 | As you progress through the area, you will come across Gates which require a character, in this case Arrow, to be at a certain Soul Level or higher to pass through them. There is a Gate just before the boss fight that requires Arrow to be Soul Level 10 or higher. |

Strategy | |
---|---|
1 | Take-Minakata is a Lv. 10 boss that Blocks both Electricity damage and Ruin Damage. Take-Minakata is weak against both Fire and Force type damage, so prepare Demons accordingly. Additionally, this boss can use Defense Kuzushi which deals Phys. damage and lowers defense, as well as Tarukaja which raises the Attack for the boss and his allies. |
2 | For an easy successful run we recommend having the party equipped with the above setup. Use Ringo and Milady use Zan and Agi to build up stacks while Saizo heals. If you have a second Demon with Agi or Zan available, equipping it to Arrow is recommended. |
3 | At around 60~50% health the Take-Minakata will summon two Cironnup that can cast Dia and heal the boss. Even if you've encountered Cironnup previously, their weakness and resistance will be hidden. Regardless, the weaknesses are the same as usual, so use Saizo's Zio and Milady's Agi to hit their elemental weakness and build up more Stacks. |
4 | At low health, Take-Minakata can cast Mazio which hits the whole party with Electricity Damage. Make sure Saizo is alternating between using Zio on the Cironnups and Dia to heal when necessary. Finish off Take-Minakata by Stacking more elemental attacks to end the encounter. |
