Spark Effect

Spark In-Game.jpg

Has the user leap at an opposing Pokemon while electricity charged, dealing damage to them. If the user uses its basic attack before reaching it's target Pokemon, the user will instead leap at the closest opposing Pokemon dealing damage to it. This move can be used three times before it goes on cooldown.

Has a 4-Second Time Window for Each Leap

Spark has a 4-second time window for each use before the move goes on cooldown.

How to Use Spark

Always Attack While Leaping

Spark - Always Attack While Leaping.gif

When you attack while leaping, you will lunge at the closest enemy. You should always attack while leaping to stay on top of your target, and to maximize the damage.

This will be more effective once you upgrade Spark since you can now restore HP when you attack while leaping.

Don't Use All Charges Immediately

Spark - Don

There is a window between leaps where you can use to do other things like use Battle Items, and do basic attacks. Always make use of this window to deal additional damage before leaping again. Wait for the timer to almost expire, then leap again to maximize the damage you can do.

Use Eject Button for an Extra Leap

If you're having trouble catching the target, consider using Eject Button to act as an extra leap.

Save One Charge for Escape

In certain scenarios, it's better if you save the last charge to escape. Since Zeraora is quite fragile, once you exhausted all your leap charges, you can easily be defeated. Having the last charge for escape gives you at least a way to get out of a fight, especially if it goes bad.

Steal Berries from the Enemy's Side

Similar to Volt Switch, you can use Spark to steal the yellow berries from the enemy's side.
