Thank you! This probably should have been mentioned in the guide. I was throwing orbs like crazy and couldn't figure out what the deal was.
Unlike what the guide says, I found it easier to go for the two by the rock (listed here as #s 4 and 5) before the two on the left-side dune (#s 2 and 3), since the former pair scrolls out of sight more quickly. Also, for some reason, the spots that Scan claims the Minior are at are actually a bit off—you need to aim your orbs slightly above the point where the line indicates instead of directly at it for best results, IME.
I only got the first eight and that triggered the Miniors to fly over, took a photo and completed the request. Didn't get the crystal bloom one or the final one in this guide.

So seven of the 10 Minior don't appear on the map until post game. I was able to fulfill the request by only waking up thise seven. Easy way to know which ones you need is they are already in the ground before you start the level and the 3 you can ignore crash down (two of them require the crystal blooms). Definitely recommend doing this on research level 2 since a Khangaskhan can block your illumina orbs in level 1.
Worked perfectly. It’s hard and I missed one several times. If you don’t have the request you can’t complete it. Finish the game and then it opens up.

How do you trigger Todd to even give you this question? I have filled in the photodex for Minior ranging from 1-4 stars so idk what else I could do to trigger it.

This b---hit doesn't work, i've been throwing orbs like crazy for the past 2 hours and i cant hit the first hidden Meteor. I've watched 3 videos and im hitting 100% the same spot as they do in the beginning (bottom right). My Scanner deosnt' indicate any other meteor except the last two near the flowers. REstarted the game couple of times, checked for updates... nothing.
Were you able to find the very first one at the start via scan??
There are 7 meteor form minior in the begining section of the level, scan to find them, one behind you at the start, two on the right near the rock where the scorbunny is during the day, two on the left near the trapinch, one near the silicobra on the right, and one slightly visible in the sand on the left. Orb them all to get them out and they will fly in over the oasis area.
Throughout the night (Mainly in the beginning area) there will be a bunch of minnior hidden in the ground. Scan to locate them and trow Orbs at them to get them out of hiding. Pay attention behind you cause there will be one hidden at the start as well. Find all them and the extra ones from the Light flowers, after activating them, over the hill they should be flying around, all 7 of them'
