Maps Greece

MW3 is getting 3 new maps for Multiplayer: Greece, Meat, and Training Facility. Test your mettle in these three brand new maps made specifically for MW3!

Gunfight
MW3 is getting 2 new modes for Zombies: All or Nothing, where players start with Throwing Knives and an empty Pistol, and Gunfight, where two small two-man teams fight for victory.

Dark Aether Rifts
Zombies Mode in MW3 will have a new area that can be reached by finding Sigils to unlock Dark Aether Rifts that take you to a labyrinthine area where you must complete new objectives.

How to Download and Install Updates

How to Check for Updates on PlayStation

Official Steps for PlayStation 5:

  1. Select the Settings menu from the PlayStation 5 home screen.
  2. Select System.
  3. In the System Software section, select System Software Update and Settings.
  4. Select Update System Software if an update is available.
  5. Follow the onscreen steps to complete the update.

Alternatively, you could also set the PlayStation 5 to automatically download and install updates via the System Softward Update in the Settings menu.

Official Steps for PlayStation 4:

  1. Select the Settings menu from the PlayStation 4 home screen.
  2. Select System Software Update.
  3. Install any available updates.
  4. Follow the onscreen steps to complete the update.

How to Check for Updates on Xbox

Official Steps for Xbox Series X|S and One:

  1. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
  2. Select Profile & system.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Select System, then select Updates.
  5. If you see a Console update available under Updates, select the update to begin downloading and installing the update.
  6. Follow the onscreen steps to complete the update.
